Blake, the brute he is, broke the backpack at the trail head and we had to improvise. You cant see the clouds of mosquitoes, believe me they are there.

What troopers! I don't think I would have lasted 8 miles, even without mosquitoes. You probably would have to leave me on the side of the trail.
Although I'm very glad you updated your blog--unlike so many others in the family--for you mission, you might keep in mind that we would like to see people's faces on occasion. But, I hope you had a nice hike, despite the mosquitoes.

I am glad that you two decided to feed all the mosquitoes. I would not want them to starve.
